Jun 23, 2021 · Unless you're talking about stock as in using the 40/80/120 slicer profiles, any of the voron models should be able to go faster than that especially when input shaper is tuned. The exception being maybe the switchwire, but that would depend on how rigid the frame is and how the bed is mounted.

Apr 21, 2020 · I am currently planning the build of a voron 2.4 in 500x500x600mm build space. I will use 4040 profiles with dual notch 5 for the vertical 4 corners and 2040 profiles for all horizontal frame elements. All corners will be connected with automatic connectors and 2040 triangles using the outer notches on the 40 dual notch sides of the profiles.

I just sourced all the parts for my 2.4 and I feel like I really didn't cut any corners, but I also tried to minimize cost where I could (mostly aliexpress, minimized kits, etc.). But with tool costs, spare parts, proper heat tolerant magnetic removable. Build plate set up (optional). My 300x300 bill of materials is around $2000.

May 10, 2023 · You can buy sub-kits for stuff like frame, motors/belts/pulleys, linear rails, fasteners, wiring. If you're looking for the absolute lowest cost you're going to spend a lot of time on Aliexpress buying individual parts of unknown provenance chasing pennies, then have it all shipped at once.

Jan 26, 2021 · As the post suggested, Currently i am building a CR10 S4 but decided to switch to Voron 2.4 as I want to print ABS. I have parts from this build, can I check is it advisable to build 410x410mm build volume with Voron 2.4? As i do not find much post regarding this. Ignore the parts need but more of a question of is it ok to build such a volume.
Let's settle this once and for all. Just how bad is the 350mm v2.4?
I, like many, am about to embark on a v2.4 build and am plagued with the question of 350 vs everything else. I've read extensively on the topic, both here and on Discord, and have heard all of the doom and gloom there is to be said on the topic. Including, but not limited to: "A 300 is challenging enough to build, the 350 must really be a handful."

Like the title says I am very interested in building a Voron 2.4. I've completely disassembled and re assembled a couple enders as well as assembled a few Prusas from a kit. I now have a couple Bambulab printers and I'm getting the itch to build again. so I figure Voron is the next step for me.
Vzbot 235 build vs Voron 2.4 build. Which one to pick?
Apr 12, 2023 · Voron is fun and have a lots of cool users mods. Quad gantry levelling is really cool and fun to see. Vzbot is much faster without tunning. But not gorgous as the voron 2.4. the Vzbot is more similar as the Voron Trident. I ever build my on Voron 2.4 (350) and I have my serial number V2.4833. It's so funny! Vzbot can be a nice futur project.
