Stephen Fain Earle (/ ɜːrl /; born January 17, 1955) is an American country, rock and folk singer-songwriter. He began his career as a songwriter in Nashville and released his first EP in 1982. Earle's breakthrough album was the 1986 debut album Guitar Town; the eponymous lead single peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot Country chart.

Steve Earle's live album, 'Alone Again (Live)', was released on July 12th and is available to stream now. The 15-song record features live recordings from Earle's recent 2023 tour and includes hits "I Ain't Ever Satisfied", "The Galway Girl", "Copperhead Road" and more.

Earle is the host of the weekly show Hard Core Troubadour on Sirius Radio’s Outlaw Country channel. In 2020, Earle was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. And in 2023, Steve was honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.
