Strange Frontier is the second album by the English musician Roger Taylor, released in 1984. This album includes two covers as well as a heavier sound than the previous album.

The album blends original songs with covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “Racing in the Street” and Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War,” giving Taylor the chance to showcase his own interpretations of these influential tracks.

As rumours said, the musicians included: Mike Dixon (keyboards), Neil Murray (bass), Rufus Taylor (drums), Bob Geldof (rhythm guitar in “Fight Club”), Jeff Beck (guitar on “Say It’s Not True”), Jason Falloon (guitars).

Roger conceived the album cover, with photographs taken by George Hurrell and the Totem Pole illustration by Ian Wright. The album reached number 30 in the UK charts and was followed by another UK single with the title track, ‘Strange Frontier’.
