Las Vegas law enforcement have revealed that the soldier behind the Tesla Cybertruck explosion used ChatGPT to plan the attack.

Sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department called the use of generative AI a “game-changer” and “a concerning moment” and said the department was sharing information with other law enforcement agencies.

Authorities have revealed that Matthew Livelsberger, an active-duty Army soldier, used ChatGPT to help plan an explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.
