The next two Avengers films have gone through a few different iterations over the last couple of years. They were originally set to be released back to back with Jeff Loveness ( Ant-Man and The Wasp:

Avengers: Doomsday represents a major shift in direction for the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the abandonment of the Kang the Conqueror story arc. A new report claims directors Joe and Anthony Russo went all out to aid that shift by completely revamping the original screenplay for the anticipated sequel.

According to a new rumour, the Russo Brothers completely scrapped Michael Waldron's Avengers 5 script before starting work on Avengers: Doomsday. We also have news on plans for Daredevil in the movie.

The Russo brothers, who will be directing Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars, recently revealed in an interview that they would not return to Marvel Studios until they found the perfect story that they just "had to tell".
