Rolin Hill died less than a week after suffering a medical emergency at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center. The medical examiner said his death was a homicide.

The death of a Virginia Beach inmate back in June has been ruled a homicide. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Norfolk shared the update with 10 On Your Side on Friday afternoon, saying Rolin Hill died from “positional and mechanical asphyxia due to restraint with neck and torso compression.
