Fierce winds sparked fires across SoCal, but rain is forecasted late Friday into Saturday, offering relief to drought-hit areas.

Jeff Nguyen reports from the Palisades Fire zone, where residents whose homes survived the fires were busy clearing out their belongings on Tuesday with a new threat incoming over the weekend. A storm predicted to bring rain could cause landslides and debris flows in the area.

While firefighters begin containing the Los Angeles wildfires, the land left behind is at a higher risk of floods and debris flows.
