Intel, the Bay Area chipmaker, is cutting 319 jobs in Northern California as part of its massive 15,000-worker slash. The company is struggling.

Intel plans to lay off 385 workers at its sites in Arizona and another 319 in its California offices, in addition to the 1,300 Oregon layoffs the chipmaker announced Tuesday.

Intel is laying off over 2,000 employees across the U.S. as part of a cost-cutting strategy, significantly impacting Oregon and Arizona.
