Even though all three systems were at different points in their life, Nintendo and other companies released a bevy of titles for each. Time to celebrate the best ones who will all be enjoying a nice, and hopefully fruitful, 20th anniversary in 2025.

So, there you go, there are the games we’re desperate to see as Nintendo Switch 2 launch titles. They won’t be, but life is a constant cycle of unbridled hope and often slightly disappointing by comparison reality, with the hope bit being both what makes it all so enthralling, and so soul-warping.

Nintendo didn't showcase a game lineup with its Switch 2 reveal, so this wishlist represents a fraction of the titles we hope will be available on day one.
