Ai-Da, the world’s first ultra-realistic robot artist, is poised to make art history as her latest work, a portrait of computing pioneer Alan Turing, goes under the hammer at Sotheby’s London next month.

Entitled AI God, the 2.2 metre-high portrait is expected to fetch between 100,000 and 150,000 pounds ($130,000 and $196,000). The online sale, featuring a range of digital art forms, would explore the intersection between art and technology, according to Sotheby’s.
