Aston Villa rediscovered their winning form in the Premier League with a dominant 3-1 victory over 10-man Fulham. Raul Jimenez’s fifth-minute fifth goal of the season had put Fulham ahead against a Villa side who had drawn their last two domestic matches.

Ollie Watkins scored his fifth Premier League goal of the campaign as Aston Villa made their best start to the season after eight games since 1998-99 with victory over Fulham. Fulham took the lead when a long punt from Bernd Leno was chased down by Raul Jimenez and he won a tussle with last man Pau Torres before striking a left-footed shot low into the corner of the net.

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Fulham 3-1 in a highly entertaining Premier League clash at Craven Cottage on Saturday in which the home side missed a penalty and both teams had a man sent off.
