(UPDATE: Oct. 17 @ 4:50 pm) - The Amber Alert was thankfully shortlived. A five-day-old boy that was abducted from a health centre in Montreal Lake, Sask., has been found, the RCMP says. "He appears safe and will be assessed by emergency medical services," noted an RCMP release. "The suspect is in custody.

Police said Machado and Anseume were married by common law and that he was the father of two of her three children. Police Detective Matthew Jones said there was a child protective case pending between Machado and Anseume.

The Ohio father accused of abducting his 2-month-old son who was the subject of an AMBER Alert is in police custody. Russell Burris, 27, was taken into custody by the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday hours after Caius Burris' alert went into effect.
