London’s Ambulance Service says five people have been treated following a stabbing in south London. Police said that a man has been arrested following the stabbing in Croydon on Thursday.
The London Fire Brigade said around 60 firefighters were called to the fire which erupted in a first floor flat in Upper Norwood at around 3am. Seven people were rescued using ladders and had been treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
A 31-year-old woman who was found dead inside a house in Croydon has been named. Jamelatu Tsiwah was found by officers on Monday at an address in Bensham Lane, Croydon, following reports of an unresponsive woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
