U.S. natural gas futures ended the day and the week down sharply as near-term temperature forecasts point to weak demand while production edges up. Temperatures are set to rise starting this weekend and by next week will be pushing back into the 70s or higher in many areas from the Great Plains to the Gulf of Mexico to the US East Coast,

November Nymex natural gas (NGX24) on Friday closed down by -0.089 (-3.79%). Nov nat-gas prices on Friday extended their two-week-long selloff and posted a 1-month nearest-futures low. The outlook for above-normal US temperatures that will reduce heating demand for nat-gas is weighing on nat-gas prices.

The natural gas market has been a little negative in the early hours of Friday, as the market will continue to see a lot of questions about the demand for natural gas as we are going to see colder temperatures sooner or later.
