Cinemark is inviting moviegoers to bring their own buckets to fill with hot, buttery popcorn. The “Bring Your Own Bucket” day event kicks off Sunday, Jan. 19, at participating Cinemark locations nationwide on National Popcorn Day,

For one day only, you can bring your own empty popcorn bucket and for $5, Cinemark will fill it. Customers are encouraged to “get creative and bring in any container, tote, or bag,” up to 400 ounces or about 3 gallons. For $5 the cinema will “load it up with the good stuff.” No movie ticket is required.
