The Ohio father accused of abducting his 2-month-old son who was the subject of an AMBER Alert is in police custody. Russell Burris, 27, was taken into custody by the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday hours after Caius Burris' alert went into effect.

Daniel Reyes is charged with a felony after he reported his "cousin" was in his truck that was stolen from a bowling alley. The report resulted in an Amber Alert.

(UPDATE: Oct. 17 @ 4:50 pm) - The Amber Alert was thankfully shortlived. A five-day-old boy that was abducted from a health centre in Montreal Lake, Sask., has been found, the RCMP says. "He appears safe and will be assessed by emergency medical services," noted an RCMP release. "The suspect is in custody.

Three Texas children abducted by a suspect in a double homicide are safe after authorities issued an AMBER Alert on Monday. Authorities found 10-year-old Ninel Anseume, 2-year-old Elsi Anseume, and 4-year-old Abraham Anseume,

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation canceled an AMBER Alert after safely finding two-month-old Truth Claybrooks in Nashville.

Police said Machado and Anseume were married by common law and that he was the father of two of her three children. Police Detective Matthew Jones said there was a child protective case pending between Machado and Anseume.
