Alongside a new Kindle Paperwhite and the first ever color Kindle, Amazon's debuted a new entry-level model and we've gone hands-on.

Earlier this week, Amazon refreshed its entire Kindle lineup while adding a new color model to the mix. The updated entry-level Kindle ($109.99) and Kindle Paperwhite ($159.99) are available now, while the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition and updated Kindle Scribe will launch on October 30th and December 4th, respectively.

Color E Ink has been in the wild for a few years now, and we've featured a number of reading and note-taking devices that use it. But Amazon's popular Kindle range has so far stuck with shades of gray.
