A 19-year-old man has been accused of setting a fire at a building that includes Wisconsin Rep. Glenn Grothman's office because of the short-lived TikTok ban. The Fond du Lac Police Department said the incident happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday at a strip mall at 525 N. Peters Ave. that is home to the Republican 6th District congressman's office.

James Edwards made his initial appearance in Milwaukee County court on Friday, Jan. 17. Cash bond was set at $200,000.

Prosecutors have charged a Wisconsin man who allegedly told police he tried to burn down a congressman’s office because he was upset over the federal TikTok ban with felony arson.
