News of the reboot comes days after Nielsen’s streaming report for 2024, which revealed that the original Little House is one of the most popular “legacy titles” on streaming, logging over 13 billion viewing minutes on Peacock. The bill is called the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act and would direct the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to keep AM broadcast radio in new vehicles for no additional charge.

Hours after news broke that the streamer had commissioned a reboot of the Western classic, Kelly, 54, took to X/Twitter to threaten Netflix, writing: “If you wokeify Little House on the Prairie I will make it my singular mission to absolutely ruin your project.”
