Denver elected to go with a new starting lineup in the game. They moved Aaron Gordon back into the starting rotation and moved Christian Braun to the bench. Of course, they also kept Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup.

For the Suns, Kevin Durant had 33 points and Devin Booker added 28 with eight assists in the loss, but the Timberwolves were too much to handle. A 26-19 record places the Clippers in sixth place in the Western Conference, behind the Thunder, Rockets, Grizzlies, Nuggets, and Lakers. The Suns rank eighth in the conference with a 23-21 record, one spot behind the Timberwolves and two behind the Clippers.

For those unfamiliar with the All-Star starter selection process, fans make up 50% of the vote for two guards and three frontcourt players (forward or center) for the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. Current NBA players account for 25% and a media panel accounts for 25%. Players can vote for themselves, by the way.

Anthony Davis led LA with 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Austin Reaves had 23 points, three rebounds and six assists. LeBron James finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Kristaps Porzingis led Boston with 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
