The Nebraska Cornhuskers came off the bye week with a showdown in Bloomington against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Huskers were not up to the challenge and were blown out by the Hoosiers 56-7, the largest loss of the Matt Rhule era.

Indiana continued its best start in 57 years with a 56-7 rout of Nebraska, matching the Hoosiers' most lopsided Big Ten win in program history.
