MIDLAND, Texas — A 22-year-old woman has died after a "drive-by shooting" Saturday night, according to the Midland Police Department (MPD). MPD responded to a shots fired call around 11:33 p.m. that took place in the 100 block of Howard Drive.

On Oct. 19, 2024, at 11:33 p.m., Midland Police responded to a shots fired call in the 100 block of Howard Drive in southwest Midland. At the scene, officers found a 22-year-old woman from Midland in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle deceased from gunshot wounds.

A 22-year-old woman was found dead in a parked car after a drive-by shooting in Midland. Police are investigating the incident.
