Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk and Emmy winner Lee Jung-jae are back for more death-defying games and nefariously masked villains as the series returns after a three-year absence.

Squid Game season 2 saw Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) return to the arena for a whole new set of games. Intent on taking down the competition from within, the former winner faced the masked mastermind the Front Man once again to try and end the sadistic tournament once and for all.

When Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae, The Acolyte) returns to the games in Season 2, he experiences the post-Red Light, Green Light vote again. Only this time, things are different. Now, players get the choice to end the games between every challenge. If they do choose to leave, they get to split the current prize pot, which goes up with every death.
