Thunder forward Jalen Williams will not return to Thursday night's preseason game against the Hawks after spraining his left ankle, the team said.

Head coach Mark Daigneault announced further details about Jalen’s condition, confirming the left ankle sprain as the injury that the OKC rising star sustained, which will be evaluated on Friday morning.

Going into the preseason finale against the Hawks, Thunder Nation was preparing not to have Isaiah Hartenstein for the start of the season, diagnosed with a left-hand fracture, which he suffered in the previous game against the Nuggets.
