RALEIGH, N.C. - Dustin Tokarski made 14 saves to record his third career shutout while Jordan Staal (1G, 1A) and Andrei Svechnikov (1G) extended their point streaks, helping the Carolina Hurricanes blank the Vancouver Canucks 2-0 at Lenovo Center on Friday.

The Vancouver Canucks fell once again, this time losing 2-0 to the Carolina Hurricanes. Thatcher Demko stopped 18 of the 20 shots he faced, while Hurricanes Dustin Tokarski made 14 saves for his first NHL shutout since the 2021-22 season. With the loss, Vancouver falls to 18-13-10 on the season, while their road record drops to 11-5-4.
