The Brutalist' filmmaker Brady Corbet earned the Golden Globe for best movie directing over nominees Jacques Audiard, Sean Baker, Edward Berger, Coralie Fargeat and Payal Kapadia at the Jan. 5 ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser in Los Angeles.
