Netflix is providing WWE with an overall comfort that might not have been there on cable TV, and it was more noticeable tonight than last week. Not that things felt rushed before, but segments and matches were really allowed to breathe.

After five years with AEW, Penta left the company after his contract expired in November 2024. WWE subsequently signed Penta and began teasing his debut during the RAW on Netflix premiere.

WWE Raw took place from San Jose and the second show of the Netflix era was sacked. A new champ and a debut highlighted the show.
