Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is in concussion protocol and would not have practiced Wednesday, while his replacement, Kenny Pickett, would have been listed as a limited participant on the injury report because of a ribs issue.

Hurts suffered a concussion midway through the first quarter when he dove forward during a 13-yard run Sunday against the Commanders during the Eagles' 36-33 loss Sunday. Hurts was hit in the helmet by Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu and ordered by the referee to get evaluated for a concussion.
