SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The murder trial of a tech consultant in the stabbing death of Cash App founder Bob Lee begins Monday, a year and a half after the widely admired entrepreneur was found staggering on a deserted downtown San Francisco street seeking help.

As the trial of accused Bob Lee killer Nima Momeni heads into its second day, Momeni’s sister, Khazar Momeni, is expected to take the stand. Lee, who was 43 when he was killed, was at Khazar’s apartment and left with her brother Nima in the early hours of April 4,

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are sitting in court with a murderer," Assistant District Attorney Omid Talai told the jury on the first day of the trial of the man accused of killing tech mogul Bob Lee. "Seated behind me is an individual and a coward who stabbed an unarmed man three times.

Tuesday could be a critical day in the high-profile trial of Nima Momeni, accused of fatally stabbing Cash App founder Bob Lee in 2023, as his sister Khazar could take the stand a day after her texts were shown in court.
