Changes are being made, starting with Kyle Shanahan’s coaching staff, as it was revealed quarterbacks coach Brian Griese surprisingly won’t be reprising his role with the team in 2025.

Griese, 49, a former NFL QB who had an 11-season career before becoming an ESPN analyst who was in the booth for 12 seasons, hadn’t coached at any level before he joined the 49ers in 2022.
