Ben Affleck won’t be responding to the Bat Signal — ever again. The Oscar-winning actor made his debut as the Dark Knight in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” before reprising the role in films like 2017’s “Justice League” and 2023’s “The Flash,” but he’ll never be Batman.

Ben Affleck revealed he has no interest in returning to the superhero genre, recalling his time on the Justice League set as an “excruciating experience”. He admitted to approaching the role of Batman with a poor attitude and expressed his intention to focus on directing rather than acting in future projects.
