Port of Galveston will officially welcome year-round sailings from Norwegian Cruise Line beginning in November 2025.

Kuryla added that by using Galveston’s strategic placement as a major turnaround port, the contract will allow the port to grow three of its brands, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises and boost economic growth in the region by creating jobs and generating tourism buzz.

Norwegian signed a 10-year deal this week to move full-time into the Port of Galveston's new terminal at Pier 16 when it opens in November 2025.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will use a new terminal in Galveston, Texas, starting in November 2025 under a 10-year contract, boosting local tourism and economic growth.

The contract is the culmination of years of discussions between port officials and Norwegian Cruise representatives.
