The U.S. General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Along with casting a vote for who will be President, voters in Winnebago County will be asked to decide on several congressional and state representatives.

In November, Yolo County residents will get to vote on several national, statewide and local races and measures. The ballot will also include 10 statewide propositions, and a summary of each of those can be found here.

The shooting occurred in a parking lot on the west side of campus early Sunday. One person was hospitalized with “non-life-threatening” injuries, police said.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A person was shot in an on-campus parking lot overnight at Northern Illinois University. Police said the shooting happened early Sunday in a parking lot outside the NIU Convocation Center on the west side of campus in DeKalb. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
