Yuki Kawamura signs with Memphis Grizzlies; 5-foot-8 guard gets final two-way contract
The Memphis Grizzlies are signing rookie point guard Yuki Kawamura to a two-way contract, according to multiple reports. Kawamura joined the Grizzlies in the preseason on a non-guaranteed exhibit 10 deal. His passing and playmaking abilities were highlighted over a two-game stretch during which he had 15 assists.
The 1.73-meter-tall Japanese point guard is teammates with the tallest player in the league, Zach Edey (2.24m).
