Traffic chaos as Tesco lorry fire shuts motorway amid two-hour Dartford Tunnel queues - The HGV burst into flames on the motorway between Clacket Lane and Junction 6, near Godstone in Surrey, at 10pm

National Highways South East said the incident, which closed part of the M25, also closed the M26 Westbound between Junction 2A and the Junction connecting the M25 and A21.

A lorry that caught fire on the M25 will cause travel chaos until midday, motorists have been warned. Images show the vehicle engulfed in flames in the middle of an empty motorway. Fire crews can later be seen surrounding the scorched wreckage after the fire has been extinguished.
