Fans of comic books, video games and pop culture will descend on the Big Apple this weekend for this year's edition of New York Comic Con.

New York Comic Con is now underway at Javits Center in Manhattan through Sunday. A local Brooklyn rapper and father is speaking out after his normal routine ended with him unconscious in a hospital. Students were dismissed early after an unexpected decision was made to have a half day at all East Orange Schools on Thursday.
