The Frankfurt Book Fair - the world's largest gathering of the book trade - opened its doors to the public on Friday in the western German city. However, for Saturday all the tickets have sold out, the organizers said.

In what has been generally a drama-free event, the focus at this year's fair was on doing deals as the international publishing business settles into a post-pandemic rhythm.
