A sheriff's deputy was arrested after he allegedly attempted to bring dozens of MDMA pills disguised as Skittles into a music festival on a cruise ship.

A Florida deputy was arrested last week after he was caught trying to sneak MDMA pills onto a cruise ship in Skittles bags, authorities said.

According to an arrest report, in December, detectives had a confidential informant purchase drugs from Deputy Francisco Javier Melo.
