Ezekiel Elliott was on the practice field for the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday, after the veteran running back was signed to the practice squad. Elliott was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 31 so that he could possibly sign with a playoff team seeking an experienced running back.

After he requested his release from the Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott will now join the Los Angeles Chargers ahead of the wild-card round of the playoffs.

Here are five things to know about the newest Charger: Elliott is a three-time Pro Bowler who has also made a pair of All-Pro Teams (one First-Team and one Second-Team) in his NFL career. The 29-year-old has also twice led the NFL in rushing, doing so in 2016 and 2018 while in Dallas.
