McDonald's is bringing back its iconic Boo Buckets just in time for Halloween 2024. Here's when you can get your own trick-or-treat pail in Phoenix.

The Boo Buckets are back. McDonald's iconic Halloween Boo Buckets, which first debuted nearly 40 years ago are back on sale starting today, Oct. 15., with a Happy Meal at participating McDonald's restaurants across the country for a limited time.

One eBay account on Tuesday morning had the set of four 2024 Boo Buckets listed for $29.99. The same seller lists the 2023 set for $23.99. Those wanting the old-school pumpkin-witch-ghost Boo Buckets trio can get it for $66.60 on the site.

McDonald’s Happy Meal menu items eligible for a Boo Bucket are Hamburger (or Cheeseburger) meals, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets meals or 6-piece Chicken McNuggets Meals. This is the third spooky season in a row McDonald’s has brought the Boo Buckets back since 2022.

McDonald’s Boo Buckets have devloped something of a cult following over the years, with fans of the fast-food chain looking forward to the release of the Halloween-themed pails each year. The festive buckets were first introduced in 1986, but went on hiatus in 2016 — making their triumphant return to restaurants in 2022.

McDonald's Happy Meals will come with an extra bit of Halloween fun this year, with the return of Boo Buckets for a limited time beginning on Tuesday Oct 15. A customer favorite, the Monster Boo Buckets come with Happy Meals and can be used for trick-or-treating.
