Water seemingly made a comeback in Richmond's faucets overnight Wednesday into Thursday — for real this time. The big picture: Most Richmonders had been without running water for more than two days, while residents in parts of Henrico and Hanover had been without service for around 24 hours as of Wednesday afternoon.

PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) — A water main break has prompted a boil water advisory along a road in Portage. It happened Thursday on the 4400 block of Briarhill Drive, according to the city of Portage. That’s in the area of US-131 and I-94. The city says the boil water advisory extends from 4382 Briarhill Dr. to 4589 Briarhill Dr.

The fire broke out in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood around 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 7 and since grew to nearly 3,000 acres. Right now, we are still 48 hours away from the winter event, but as we get closer, it is likely to be upgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory or a Winter Storm Warning.
