The storm, expected to begin Friday, Jan. 10, will bring mixed wintry precipitation to most of WNC and several other areas.

Travel is anticipated to become "very difficult" by the mid to late morning and although much of the snow will move out by midnight, travel impacts will continue through the weekend.
