Lived in Illinois for over 45 years and this was our first time visit to the Morton Arboretum. I had to convince the Hubby to take the 1 hour drive but, upon arrival it was well worth spending a beau… Full review by Pam D

The arboretum is open, but all buildings, the children's garden, and the maze is closed. There was a long line of cars waiting to get in last Wednesday morning.

I just think it would be really nice to get some photos of us under the trees when they're full of color. Is there a day that's a little less crowded that you could recommend? And a good time for the fall colors? We've never been and I keep checking the site for "fall colors" but I see nothing about the crowds, except Wednesdays are the busiest. Raina
