The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) stocks the seven lakes (indicated above) with fish. They usually do not let anyone know when they stock the lakes. MDC will survey the number and type of fish located in each lake. Stocking is then based on this survey. Generally, the lakes are stocked with channel catfish, crappie and black bass.
