You have to go to a place called 'le Petit Bateau' where you can find the boats going to the islands and make the arrangements with one of them. At the gate to the jetty, you have to pay 5000 GNF and the boat it is between 25,000 GNF to 50,000 GNF per person depending on your negotiation skills. It is better to ask the hotel to make the arrangements for you if you dont want to find yourself stranded on the island by yourself. During the rainy season, the hotels on the islands are closed.

Sorry for the late reply. The temperature was great actually especially with the sea breeze. For one room (very basic without TV nor AC etc..) it was around 100 USD. Take a pocket lamp with you and always use insect repellent as there is an insect that has a nasty bite. Be aware of swimming in the ocean as it is polluted and your skin might be too sensitive and have a bad reaction to it (skin rash or aczyma etc..) which can be very nasty but treatable.
