This is the perfect hike for families! It's easy, and the views are simply stunning. It is a 2 euro entry fee. We went on a muddy morning, the trial is also covered in sheep poop, but then you come b…Full review by LouiseB639

Quick hike just out of town with amazing views! Most of Slea Head Drive is packed with tourists and you don't get time to just enjoy the view. This is the opposite of that. It is up a steep hill, but…Full review by Karrie N

Great spur-of-the-moment decision to do this hike. Bring €2 cash per person and some shoes you don't mind getting wet! We tried our best to avoid the sheep piles but being able to rinse and brush our…Full review by Gabrielle F
Can you walk from Dingle town to get to Eask tower? If so how long would it take

Yes you can. Walk out toward distillery, left over the bridge, left on road by riding stables and out aways. I thin 45-60 mins is about right and also an easy bIke ride. There can be traffic from the bridge to the turnoff. More leisurely route would be on parallel road about a quarter mile in from main road, but that would be better for bikes not walking.
Are you able to take dogs on this walk or are there restrictions based on it being on private land?
A:
I would go by and ask the land owner out of courtesy. There are farm sheep in fields, so the owner may want to know if you have a lead or that your dog is under good voice control. We …
I would go by and ask the land owner out of courtesy. There are farm sheep in fields, so the owner may want to know if you have a lead or that your dog is under good voice control. We did meet the lady of the property and she was kind and graceful. I am sure if you ask, they may consider it!
Where do you park? Is there a landmark of any kind to help us find the starting point?

Where do you park and how long does this venture take from beginning to end, leaving enough room to enjoy the view from the top? Thank you!

There's a small car parking area (free) by the roadside opposite the farm where a sign invites you to wash your boots at the end. Inside the gate there's a small hut where you can leave a donation out of season. From there to the top is about 20 minutes for most able-bodied people. Allow 20 minutes at the top and 20 coming down means an hour. However you could easily spend 2hrs if you have time, since the views are so beautiful and most days it's very peaceful. Especially if there's been rain of late then take boots as the ground going up from the gate gets very muddy.
